A New Chapter
For months now, I’ve been waiting… waiting to see some sign of motivation, waiting to see change, waiting to see what the future would hold for him. He’s changing. Month by month, day by day, he’s changing. He’s changing from the 15 year old I met, who was a fun loving trouble-maker, to someone who is starting to question who he is and what he wants to be. It makes me smile to just sit here and think about it.
Today Alexander is 17, and although he was legitimately lost with 3 friends on Tuesday’s hike with his fellow brothers from CREA and Ernesto, he purposefully chose to be found. Blessings! True blessings. He has every reason to give up really, but he chooses to stay and persevere through the challenges he faces. AMEN! and I only ask for those who read this and those who have been involved to PRAY. Pray for Alex’s journey to continue on this path toward healing and wholeness. I have faith that God is working His purpose and plan for Alex’s life, and He has Alex right where He wants him to be. Thanks for all your love and support; its truly appreciated.
