Blog 1 – Alexander’s Story

Hello, I hope you are well. Many times I think about the person I was and the person I am today. Sometimes I struggle and think about returning to the past but there is always something internal in me that stops me from doing so. Sometimes I have an inner struggle of what I want. I feel like I’m between a sword and the wall, it is often difficult to decide,

But I also know that I am not the only one who has these moments.

Many people in my home, in my country (and maybe in our world) have the same struggle. Thankfully, through CREA’s program here in Honduras, Heart4Honduras’ mentors, my faith and having someone who truly cares about me, I have learned some healthy ways to cope:

  • to have good and healthy interests like reading instead of social media
  • to learn from the past and focus on the positive in my life
  • to recognize that life changes help me improve and become a different person than the life I was born into
  • Most of all, to have a relationship with the one who came to save us ALL ❤

Happy Father’s Day Honduras… to my birth father in heaven, Ernesto’s father Juan, to Evan and to our ultimate father: Jesus ❤
